The fault that won’t present while we’re there
Intermittent problems are the hardest thing in this trade to bill honestly. The unit runs fine for the two hours a technician is standing in front of it, and the building ends up paying for a part somebody guessed at.
Where a plant has more than one unit, we swap components between them. If the fault follows the component, we have the answer. If it stays with the unit, we have eliminated it. Either way the building learns something real before anyone spends money on parts.

Before you pay us for an annual boiler inspection, check with your insurance carrier. Most of the time it’s already covered by the premium you’re paying, and you can have it done at no cost.
